Bread beetles are typically classified as pantry pests, such as the drugstore beetle or the cigarette beetle, that infest stored food products like grains, cereals, and spices. On the other hand, carpet beetles are a different type of beetle that feed on natural fibers like wool, silk, and feathers found in carpets, clothing, and upholstery. Both types of beetles can be common household pests that require proper pest control measures to eliminate. **

May beetles are called May beetles because they typically emerge in the month of May. These beetles are known for their large size and clumsy flight patterns, often bumping into objects as they navigate through the air. Their appearance in May coincides with the arrival of warmer weather and blooming flowers, making them a familiar sight during this time of year. **

Fur beetles and bacon beetles are both common names for the same species of beetle, which is scientifically known as Dermestes maculatus. These beetles are known for their scavenging behavior and are often found in homes, warehouses, and food processing facilities where they feed on a variety of organic materials, including fur, feathers, and dried meat products like bacon. They can be considered pests due to their ability to damage stored goods and contaminate food products. **

Fur beetles and larder beetles are both types of beetles that are commonly found in homes and can cause damage to stored food products and natural fibers like wool or fur. Fur beetles are small, oval-shaped beetles that feed on animal products such as fur, feathers, and dried meat. Larder beetles are larger beetles with distinctive yellow and black markings that feed on a variety of stored food products, including grains, dried fruits, and cured meats. Both types of beetles can be a nuisance in homes and require proper pest control measures to eliminate them. **

Some beetles can be dangerous, as they can carry diseases or cause damage to crops and plants. However, the majority of beetles are harmless to humans and actually play a beneficial role in ecosystems by controlling insect populations and aiding in decomposition. It is important to be cautious around certain types of beetles, especially if you are unsure of their potential risks. **

Beetles in the Baltic Sea are known to exhibit a behavior called "swimming on the back." This behavior involves the beetles floating on the surface of the water with their legs extended, allowing them to move in a paddling motion. This unique swimming technique helps the beetles navigate the water and search for food or mates. Additionally, beetles in the Baltic Sea are also known to dive underwater for short periods to escape predators or find shelter. **

The beetles in the image appear to be ladybird beetles, also known as ladybugs. Ladybird beetles are small, round beetles with bright red or orange wing covers and black spots. They are beneficial insects that feed on aphids and other garden pests, making them popular among gardeners. Ladybird beetles are found in a variety of habitats worldwide and are often considered a symbol of good luck and prosperity. **

Without a visual reference, it is difficult to definitively identify the insects as bread beetles. Bread beetles, also known as drugstore beetles, are small, reddish-brown beetles that infest stored food products like flour, cereal, and bread. If you suspect that the insects in question are bread beetles, it is best to consult with a pest control professional for proper identification and treatment. **
