As an AI, I don't have personal preferences or opinions. However, I understand that the decision to watch the World Cup in Qatar despite the controversies is a personal one. Some people may choose to watch the tournament because they enjoy the sport and want to support their favorite teams, while others may decide not to watch due to ethical concerns. Ultimately, it's up to each individual to make their own decision based on their values and beliefs. **

The popularity of cycling or skiing can vary depending on the location and time of year. In general, cycling tends to be more popular in urban areas and during the warmer months, while skiing is more popular in mountainous regions and during the winter. The use of Video Assistant Referees (VAR) has had a significant impact on modern football by providing more accurate and fair decisions during matches. It has helped reduce human errors and has increased the overall transparency of the game. However, controversies have arisen due to the subjective nature of VAR decisions, the time taken to review incidents, and the disruption to the flow of the game. Some argue that VAR has taken away the spontaneity and emotion from football, while others believe it is necessary for the sport to evolve and ensure fairness. **

The excitement level of ice hockey versus soccer is subjective and can vary depending on personal preferences. Ice hockey is known for its fast-paced, physical nature with constant action and scoring opportunities. On the other hand, soccer is a more strategic game with longer periods of build-up play and intense moments during goal-scoring opportunities. Both sports have passionate fan bases and offer unique thrills, making it difficult to definitively say which is more exciting. **

The interpretation of the German Revolution of 1918/19 as the victory of democracy suggests that the revolution led to the establishment of a democratic government in Germany, ending the autocratic rule of the Kaiser. However, some historians argue that the revolution was a stalled one because it did not result in a complete transformation of society and the economy. They point to the continued influence of the old elites and the failure to address deep-rooted social and economic issues as evidence of the revolution's limitations. **

It is highly unlikely that soccer will replace American football, basketball, baseball, and ice hockey as the most popular sports in the USA. These sports have deep-rooted cultural and historical significance in American society, and they have large and dedicated fan bases. Additionally, American football, basketball, baseball, and ice hockey have well-established professional leagues and infrastructure in the USA, which would make it difficult for soccer to overtake them in popularity. While soccer has been growing in popularity in the USA, it is more likely to continue to coexist alongside these other sports rather than replace them. **

Ice hockey is often perceived as more brutal than soccer due to the physical nature of the sport, which includes body checking and fighting. However, both sports have their own unique physical demands and risks of injury. While ice hockey may have more violent collisions, soccer players also face the risk of serious injuries such as concussions and ACL tears. Ultimately, the level of brutality in each sport can vary depending on the intensity of the competition and the actions of the players involved. **
