Stoppage time in soccer, also known as injury time, is the additional time added to the end of each half of a soccer match to make up for time lost due to stoppages in play. These stoppages can include injuries, substitutions, time-wasting, and other delays. The amount of stoppage time is determined by the referee and is typically displayed on a board held up by the fourth official. This extra time allows for a fair and accurate representation of the total time played in a match. **

The longest stoppage time ever in a soccer game was in a match between Lazio and Sampdoria in 2002. The game had a stoppage time of 13 minutes and 13 seconds due to a series of injuries, substitutions, and time-wasting tactics. This unusually long stoppage time led to controversy and discussions about time management in soccer matches. **

Stoppage time is added to football matches to compensate for the time lost due to stoppages in play, such as injuries, substitutions, and time-wasting tactics. It ensures that the full 90 minutes of playing time is completed, and gives teams a fair chance to make up for any lost time during the match. Stoppage time is determined by the referee based on the amount of time lost during the game, and it allows for a more accurate representation of the actual playing time. **

Isotretinoin causes growth stoppage by affecting the function of the sebaceous glands, which are responsible for producing oil in the skin. By reducing the activity of these glands, isotretinoin decreases the production of oil, which can lead to a decrease in the growth of acne-causing bacteria. Additionally, isotretinoin can also affect the production and function of skin cells, leading to a reduction in the formation of acne lesions. Overall, these effects on oil production and skin cell turnover contribute to the improvement of acne and the stoppage of its growth. **

In soccer, the maximum amount of stoppage time that can be given is typically 5 minutes per half. This additional time is added by the referee to compensate for time lost due to injuries, substitutions, and other stoppages during the game. However, in some cases, such as in high-stakes matches or when there have been significant delays, the referee may choose to add more than 5 minutes of stoppage time. **

Stoppage time and extra time are often confused, but they refer to different things in soccer. Stoppage time, also known as injury time, is the additional time added to the end of each half to make up for time lost due to substitutions, injuries, or other delays. Extra time, on the other hand, is the additional period of play added to a match that is tied at the end of regulation time, typically in knockout competitions like the World Cup or Champions League. In extra time, the teams continue to play in two halves of 15 minutes each to determine a winner if the match is still tied after regulation time. **

Stoppage time is counted from the 90th minute onwards by the referee, who determines how much time should be added based on the amount of time lost due to substitutions, injuries, and other stoppages during the second half. The fourth official typically signals the amount of stoppage time to be added at the end of the 90 minutes. The referee then adds this time to the 90th minute, and the match continues until the stoppage time is completed. **
