Field hockey is played on a rectangular field with two teams of 11 players each. The objective is to score goals by hitting a small, hard ball into the opponent's goal using a curved stick. Players can only use one side of the stick to move the ball and cannot use their feet or body to control it. The game is fast-paced, with players using their stick skills, speed, and teamwork to outmaneuver the opposition and create scoring opportunities. **

Electromagnetic waves in the far field are in phase because they have traveled a large distance from the source and have reached a point where the wavefronts are essentially planar. This means that all points on the wavefront are at the same phase, resulting in the waves being in phase. In the far field, the waves have also spread out and the differences in path length from the source to the observation point are negligible, further contributing to the waves being in phase. This phase coherence is important for the constructive interference of waves, which is essential for many applications of electromagnetic waves such as in antennas and communication systems. **

The cleats help players to grip the turf and make quick movements without slipping.
